SATIS Pallet Scales for Fast Load Checking

SATIS pallet scales allow pallets to be weighed without the need for a conventional weighing platform. Their open U-shaped design allows pallets to be positioned on the scale using a standard manual pallet truck.

These scales are designed for warehouses, wholesale facilities, logistics centres, production plants and other locations where the weight of goods being prepared for shipment or received into stock is regularly checked.

Depending on the version, pallet scales are available with different weighing capacities, resolutions, construction materials, weighing indicator functions and rechargeable battery options.

How to Choose a Pallet Scale?

When choosing a pallet scale, consider the dimensions of the pallets being used, the maximum load weight, the required resolution and the operating conditions. The length of the indicator cable, ease of moving the scale and durability of the construction are also important factors.

Pallet Dimensions

The scale should be suitable for the type and dimensions of pallets being used. Before purchasing, check the internal width and length of the weighing arms as well as the method used to position the load on the scale.

Weighing Capacity

The maximum capacity must accommodate the combined weight of the pallet and its load. A sufficient safety margin should be maintained to reduce the risk of overloading the load cells.

Mobility

Selected pallet scales are equipped with a handle and transport rollers, allowing the scale to be moved between workstations without additional equipment.

Operating Conditions

Painted steel construction may be suitable for standard warehouse environments. For humid environments, food processing applications or areas requiring frequent washing, a stainless steel version should be considered.

How Is a Pallet Weighed?

The load should be positioned securely and the maximum permitted capacity must not be exceeded. The indicator cable should be protected from pallet truck wheels and other sources of mechanical damage.
